PCS-XG1 is the combination of 1080p/60 full HD PTZ camera and video conferencing codec in a form factor housing. The video conferencing system is a cost-effective solution for small to medium-sized conference rooms.
If, for example, a presentation is being worked on together during a videoconference, parallel transmission of the PC data (H.239) takes place in SXGA resolution at 30 fps. The additional option PCSA-RXC1 enables high-resolution images in Full HD 1080p at 30 fps.
The camera of PCS-XG1 is the silver Sony SRG-120DH with 12x zoom and a horizontal field of view of 71°.
The video conference as well as the data shared during the conference including possible annotations (via tablet) can be stored on a Sony 32 GB USB stick and viewed later on the PC (max. recording time 4h at a bandwidth of 1024 kbps, 8h at 512 kbps). Via the USB stick, you can also: save and retrieve your configuration settings, incl. phone book (ideal for transferring settings to other devices) perform firmware upgrades and back up the current firmware version HD streaming Image and sound (as well as presentations and annotations) can be transmitted via streaming to persons not participating in the communication via the Internet in HD quality - either as multicast transmission to several clients or as unicast transmission (e.g. to a PC or server). Optionally, image and sound or only sound signals can be transmitted.
A USB port is available for wireless network connections. In combination with the additional software PCSA-WXC1 (including wireless dongle IFU-WLM3), video conferences via WLAN are possible. The function will be available from version 1.1. However, LAN and WLAN connections are not possible at the same time.
The compact video conferencing system has the following interfaces:
