Sony PCS-XG77 Video Conference System

PCS-XG77: 720p/60 HD video conferencing system

PCS-XG77 is the latest 720p/60 video conferencing system from Sony. The system includes the PCS-XG77S codec element and the Sony EVI-H100V Full HD PTZ camera with 1/2.8" Exmor CMOS sensor. Codec and camera are also available separately.

Dual stream data exchange in SXGA
If, for example, a presentation is being worked on together during a video conference, the video and PC data (H.239) are transmitted in parallel in SXGA resolution.

Camera options: 1080p/60 Full HD PTZ cameras

The main camera of PCS-XG100 is by default the silver Sony SRG-120DH with 12x zoom. Alternatively, the combination of PCS-XG100S video conferencing codec and the Sony SRG-300HC (black) or SRG-300HW (white), both with 30x zoom, is also available.

Recording on USB Stick
The videoconference and the data shared during the conference, including any annotations (via tablet), can be stored on a Sony 32 GB USB stick for later viewing on a PC (max. recording time 4h at a bandwidth of 1024 kbps, 8h at 512 kbps).

Via the USB stick you can also:

• Store and retrieve your configuration settings, including phonebook (ideal for transferring settings to other devices).
• Upgrade firmware and backup current firmware version

HD streaming
Video and audio (as well as presentations and annotations) can be streamed over the Internet in HD quality to people who are not participating in the communication - either as multicast transmission to multiple clients or as unicast transmission (e.g. to a PC or server). Optionally, image and sound or only sound signals can be transmitted.

Dual and Single Monitor Mode

Via HDMI and DVI output, camera images and PC data can be output to 2 monitors (Dual Monitor Mode) or split into two areas on only one monitor (Single Monitor Mode).
